Speech Therapy
In learning and communicating, Speech Therapists help in the prevention, evaluation and treatment of human communication.
Side by side with CAIDI – Center of Support and Intervention in Childen’s Development, the school Jardim-Escola João de Deus is developing the “AIDI” project to ensure a complementary response specific to children and teenagers’ needs, within the scope of Speech. The Speech Therapy acts in the prevention, evaluation, intervention, and scientific study of communication disorders in children and teenagers, encompassing functions associated with the understanding and expressing oral and written language and acting in other forms of non-verbal communication.
